@limitless On Why The Only Real Limits Are the Limits That Exist Within Your Mind

Tech mogul Jas Mathur went from rags to riches after building a multi-millionaire business from scratch. By age 14, he was raking in £30K a month, but Jas lost everything but built himself back up with his grit and determination.

He was earning £30K a month at the age of just 14, but Limitless CEO Jas Mathur wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

The self-made tech millionaire stopped by Muscle and Health HQ to give us an exclusive insight into his fast-paced wealth train.

The social media sensation boasts an impressive 7.8m followers on Instagram, sharing a backstage pass to his abundant lifestyle, afforded by his extraordinary business acumen.

He says: “I got into the internet world when I was just twelve,” begins Jas, now 37. “By the time I was 13, I’d learned how to put up a website and a news bulletin board. I then taught myself how to bring traffic to a site. It took about a year to build it up, and right around that time in ’99 is when companies started to offer payments based on the amount of visitors websites were receiving.

“I got into the internet world when I was just twelve”

“Depending on the number of users, how long they stayed on your site, and how many pages your site had, they would integrate push ads at the bottom of the visitor’s browser, and in turn, I would get paid out for it. I was only 14 years old when that started to happen.

“I didn’t take any classes. I first learned HTML. Back then it was very basic. Websites were built in Notepad, so I learned the tags and how it all worked, and then I learned graphic design with CorelDraw. That was before Photoshop ever came out.

“It’s a continual learning process. Today we’re evolving into Web 3. When I started it was Web 1, and then when social media was developed, it became Web 2. And now with all the blockchain technologies, NFTs, and the metaverse, we’re moving into Web 3. The learning never ends.”

Never one to stop studying, Jas Mathur loves the challenge of getting his teeth into new tech topics

“I love exploring the opportunities within the metaverse and virtual reality,” he says. “It’s about combining the tangible with the intangible. I’m in the process of building a Web 3 division at the moment, as an extension to my agency.”

“NTFs will mostly be used for security and authenticity purposes”

Jas Mathur explains the ongoing mystery surrounding NFTs

“NFTs will mostly be used for security and authenticity purposes,” he says. “Most of the projects you see going on right now are just pump and dump. That’s not where the future is at. An example of what they’ll be used for is buying and selling vehicles. When you sell a car, you’ll have to transfer its NFT over instead of having the logbook on a piece of paper. The same thing goes for diamonds that have GIA certificates or watches that come with papers. These things will eventually move over into NFTs from a certification standpoint.”

Best known for fronting Limitless, Jas reveals the origination of the concept

“The name Limitless was given to me by a friend of mine,” he says. “We’re going public very soon. It’s home to over 20 lifestyle brands targeted at the look-good-feel-great space. One thing everybody has in common is they want to look good and feel great.

“I aim to bring awareness to people in the sense you can achieve anything you set your mind to, both physically and mentally. It’s about understanding your priorities and what you want. You really can get anything you want if you have a healthy state of mind and take that step forward. But the mind must come before the body. Your mind has to be healthy first and foremost. You could train all day, but if your mental state isn’t aligned, you’re not going to get anywhere, because your hormone levels will be off-balance.

“Social media is just a toy. Don’t get carried away thinking someone else’s life looks better than yours”

“You have to have thick skin. You have to believe in yourself. Social media is just a toy. Don’t get carried away thinking someone else’s life looks better than yours. Just because it may be portrayed that way, doesn’t mean it truly is. That’s why in today’s world, a lot of people are insecure or depressed and anxious, because they want more, and they’re never happy.

Having built his dream day job, Jas enjoys a work-life balance that never requires him to switch on or off.

“In 2010, I told myself I wanted a life I wouldn’t need a vacation from, and thankfully, I was able to achieve that,” he says. “Right now, I’m taking my company from private to public, so there’s a lot of lifting to do, but the fun will come later. “I still take my weekends off, but I’m not into partying anymore. My definition of fun is doing nice outdoor things, or just being in relaxing environments, and being able to clear my head so I can continue moving forward with my goals.

“I get up between five and six o’clock every morning. I don’t set an alarm. I go to bed at around ten.”

Jas Mathur shares sound advice from personal experience for budding entrepreneurs

“Focus on doing something you’re passionate about, because if you’re not passionate about it, work will become a burden,” he says. “Take your time and nurture the process.

“On the flip side, it’s important not to be too passionate to accept when something’s not going to work. You can’t always get it right the first time around. I’ve been there. When you believe in what you want to do, you can lose track. You may overspend in making it look better than it needs to from a business standpoint, and you won’t look at the profitability, you’ll just keep going because you believe in it so much, because you’re passionate. That happened to me in Canada.

“I didn’t just get to where I am without hiccups. I actually lost everything, and then I had to build myself back up from scratch. I invested in retail stores when everybody was going online, because I didn’t want to be behind computers anymore, because I felt it made me gain weight all the time. It was a personal decision, not a business one. You have to work smart and if something is losing money, you need to re-think it. You have to be willing to make changes in a quick and efficient manner, so that your vehicle doesn’t just crash.”
