Tyson Fury’s historic boxing showdown against Francis Ngannou is here, with the world eagerly anticipating the outcome of a clash called ‘The Battle of the Baddest’.

But what exactly has Fury been eating during his final week of preparation? We have the inside scoop thanks to an interview with his nutritionist on Betway.

Monday

On Monday, Fury started the day with a protein-packed breakfast of a five-egg omelette with spinach and turkey bacon, two large roasted potatoes and half an avocado. And for his mid-morning snack, he had a smoothie made with two bananas and Greek yoghurt.

10 am: 5 eggs, spinach, turkey bacon omelette. Two large potatoes for roasted potatoes and 1/2 avocado

1 pm: 2 bananas, 1 cup of Greek yoghurt smoothie

3 pm: Lemon pepper salmon, 8oz roasted sweet potatoes, one tablespoon hummus and 1/2 avocado

6 pm: 8oz BBQ chicken breast, 1 cup of rice with broccoli and tomatoes cooked in chicken broth.

9 pm: 1 cup Greek yoghurt, 1 cup blackberries, 1 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of strawberries and 1/4 cup of granola.

12 am: 2 smoothies, two bananas, 1 cup of Greek yogurt.

Tuesday

Tuesday’s morning meal was a rosemary-roasted potato dish with two turkey sausages, scrambled eggs with cheese, and a cup of pineapple. Fury had a protein shake with banana, peanut butter, honey, and Greek yoghurt for lunch, followed by an 8-ounce chicken curry with basmati rice.

10 am: Rosemary roasted potatoes, 2turkey sausages, two scrambled eggs with cheese and 1 cup pineapple

1 pm: Protein shake, one banana, 1tbsp honey, 1tbsp peanut butter and 1 cup Greek yoghurt

3 pm: 8oz Chicken curry with peas, carrots, and 2 cups of basmati rice.

6 pm: Lamb kebabs with tzatziki sauce, hummus basmati rice, and sliced Cucumber on the side.

9 pm: 1 cup of raspberries, 1 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of strawberries and 1 cup of Greek yogurt

12 pm: Shake one banana, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 cup Greek yoghurt and dark chocolate on the side.

Wednesday

On Wednesday, Fury had a breakfast of three eggs scrambled with cheese, large portions of roasted rosemary potatoes, two chicken sausages, two cups of blueberries, a shake, and Greek yoghurt. Lunch featured sliced apples, oranges, mixed nuts, honey, and Greek yoghurt. He enjoyed chicken thighs with garbanzo beans, spinach, chicken gravy, and lemon pepper seasoning for dinner.

10 am: 3 eggs scrambled with cheese, roasted rosemary potatoes large portion, shake, Greek yoghurt, 2 cups of blueberries and two chicken sausages

1 pm: Sliced apples, sliced oranges, 1 cup mixed nuts, 1 cup Greek yoghurt and mixed with 1tbsp honey

3 pm: 2 chicken thighs, 1 cup garbanzo beans cooked with spinach in chicken broth with chicken gravy

6 pm: 1 chicken breast, one large baked potato, sliced melon and pineapple, side of asparagus with lemon salt and pepper

9 pm: 1 cup Greek yoghurt,1 cup Sliced banana,1 cup of sliced strawberries and 1 cup dark chocolate 

12 am: 1 banana,1 tbsp peanut butter, 1tbsp honey and 1 cup Greek yogurt

Thursday

Taking a turn from chicken, Thursday’s menu included BBQ chicken breasts with baked potatoes and carrots, followed by an 8-ounce lemon pepper salmon for dinner with rice, basil, spinach, avocado, tomatoes, and lemon pepper olive oil sauce.

10 am: 3 eggs scrambled with cheese, two chicken sausages, roasted rosemary potatoes, 1 cup of pineapple 

1 pm: Shake, 1/2banana 1 tbsp honey 1tbsp peanut butter 1 cup Greek yoghurt

3 pm: BBQ chicken breast, 1 cup of peas and carrots, one large baked potato

6 pm: 8oz lemon pepper salmon, 1 cup basmati rice with tomatoes, spinach, and basil cooked in chicken broth and 1/2 avocado, lemon pepper olive oil sauce 1tbsp

9 pm: 1 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of raspberries, 1 cup of blackberries, dark chocolate and 1 cup of Greek yogurt.

12 pm: Shake one banana and 1 cup of strawberries

Friday

Finally, on Friday, the day before the big bout, Fury’s breakfast included three eggs with spinach and cheese, rosemary roasted potatoes, turkey sausage, and mixed fruit. For lunch, he opted for a blackened salmon dish with rice, chickpeas, tomatoes, and spinach in chicken broth, with hummus and avocado to top it off. And before the night ended, he refuelled with two chicken thighs, roasted potatoes, mixed berries, nuts, Greek yoghurt, and granola.

10 am: 3 eggs scrambled with cheese and spinach, three turkey sausages, rosemary roasted potatoes and 2 cups of mixed fruit.

2 pm: 8oz blackened salmon, 2 cups of rice cooked with spinach, chickpeas, and tomatoes in chicken broth with hummus and avocado

6 pm: 2 chicken thighs, roasted potatoes, 2 cups mixed berries and nuts

9 pm: 1 cup of blackberries, 1 cup of raspberries, 1 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of Greek yogurt and 1/2 cup of granola
